Inter-tel Legacy Telephone Systems

The manufacture of these Inter-tel telephone systems has been discontinued. They are reliable and flexible telephone systems that are still serving many of our clients. We stock most parts and our technicians are factory trained to service these systems. 

Inter-tel Axxess
The Inter-tel Axxess system is a flexible, scalable platform which supports a variety of digital and VoIP endpoints. It also supports application platforms for Enterprise Messaging, Unified Communication, Contact Center management, FAX from the desktop, third party software applications, SIP standard phone solutions, Interactive Voice Response, and many other computer/telephone integrated products. Its ability to integrate new VoIP technologies make it easy to bridge to the newest technologies without replacing all your existing equipment. High reliability and software flexibility make it a valuable tool in today’s rapidly changing technology market.

Although the product has been phased out of new production, Mitel continues to provide support via an aggressive re-manufacturing process to ensure continued availability of support for the product. In addition, there is a robust used equipment market providing products for existing systems.

Inter-tel Axxent
This smaller sibling of the Axxess product continues to provide great service to existing customers. Although additional software support has been discontinued by the manufacturer, Brooks Communication, Inc. supports the system and maintains an adequate supply of parts for the future. At some point within the next five years, most Axxent customers will probably upgrade to the Mitel 5000 platform.

Inter-tel GLX and GLX+
Most of the GLX family of telephone systems which are still in use are over 12 years old. We have some existing systems which have been working continuously for nearly 20 years. As the systems become less reliable due to advanced age, new, cost effective systems are available providing more features and still retaining the GLX ease of use. Consider putting your GLX out to pasture while it still has some life left.

Inter-tel Encore Family
The Encore CX system has evolved into the Mitel 3000 communication platform. Using a hybrid digital/analog approach, the 3000 system provide many user features in a small system package. Although we haven’t sold many of the systems, we continue to offer factory authorized support for customers owning either the Encore CX or the Mitel 3000.
